One of the goals for POWERPROGRESSIVEART was to create an annual art platform that would connect public and state institutions to work for the general benefit of the citizenry, state, and the world. One of the first such projects was the Art and Education platform Narona created in 2011. The first assembly that gathered the artists, local and state institutions and made a possibility for engaging schools in such cooperation was called - The Birds. The Birds incurred in collaboration with the Narona Archaeological Museum, a place that gathers tourists, people interested in art, history, archaeology and the cultural heritage of the Neretva's underflow. The other collaboration, in the field of nature preservation, opened at the Ornithology Collection (today - the Natural History Museum Metkovic) with the courtesy of Ms. Ivana Bace, the Director of the Natural History Museum. By involving these facilities of public education, in both natural and cultural heritage, we managed to attract the artists, scientists, young people, children and schools, associations and entrepreneurs who entered all our next art, science and education projects.

In 2015. at the first Powerweb, POWERPROGRESSIVEART held a series of events and happenings where the Natural History Museum was a host to the Interdisciplinary Congress - The Cultural Heritage of the Deltas as well as to one of our exhibitions – NATURA HEREDITAS. This was a refined art exhibition that gathered most of the sculptures made at the Art and Education platform Narona in 2011 which were a part of the permanent art exhibition at the Ornithology Collection. Since the Natural History Museum was established that summer, the Powerweb and the permanent exhibition had a brand new partner. Thus, the Powerweb - Art, Science, and Education Platform, realized in 2015, afterward in the 2016 / 2017 and 2017 / 2018 academic years, amongst other numerous contributors from Croatia and Europe, carried on the cooperation with the Natural History Museum Metkovic.

In 2018 NATURA HEREDITAS crossed Europe showing many growth possibilities. It is now, an annual exhibition with the aspiration of global connection.

PERMANENT ART EXHIBITION AND VISITING ARTISTS

- NATURA HEREDITAS 2015 - 2018

(...) As it shows, the NATURA HEREDITAS exhibition offers to share the experiences and the personal cognition visual dialog of the natural values and its, albeit limited regeneration, also the cultural values and our obligation to take care of our history. The exhibition instructs lifelong learning, work on oneself, and the work on the local and the global community. This excerpt is from the International Interdisciplinary Meeting, lectures, A. Gizdic: NATURA HEREDITAS - Significance of Art in Local Community Engagement, in 2018. Also, Chris Freemantle, the RCN representative establishes in his lecture '#art4wetlands: "Art is one of the important aspects of the cultural agenda intersecting with Youth and also connecting with food, traditional agriculture, and indigenous knowledge and practice." His presentation has highlighted the roles that contemporary artists perform in the context of wetland conservation, restoration and wise use drawing on examples from the current #art4wetlands programme.

DIVINE HERITAGE

(...) The Natural History Museum was opened for storing the artworks and the art-concepts of the guest artists and the POWERPROGRESSIVEART's artists. Thus is conceived the DIVINE HERITAGE exhibition which lasted July 13 – September 15, 2016. The many parts of the artworks spent the summer in this exhibition as they have been moved from Kiteboarding Komin where the Larpourlartism - Impression, performances, happenings and the concerts took place.

With the DIVINE HERITAGE exhibition we have materialized some museum’s designations – "caring, studying and exhibiting the artifacts or museum collections"*, in the Natural History Museum – by the art content. The museum visitors were able to accompany all the exhibition changes during the summer. The exhibition was thematically based on the natural and cultural heritage of the Neretva Delta, then Dalmatia, Europe, and the world. Art media: sculptures, performances, video-art, and music concepts have connected Dalmatia and New Zealand and the Neretva Delta with all six continents through the cooperation with the international guests and participants of all our activities.
