Larpourlartism - expression (scroll left) was a fusion of happenings that took place @ Kiteboarding Komin July 23, 2016.

The event was presented at HRT4. It was an afternoon of TARARA AND HAKA and a night of video performance by Gloria Oreb (The Red Book, 2015) and ...some jazz, jazz jam by Oscar Kolar on double bass and Toni Palfy on guitar from Karntner Landes konservatorium in Klagenfurt. This duo often plays jams @ Kiteboarding Komin. On this occasion, they performed as a contribution to our happenings. TARARA AND HAKA was a performative event in which POWERPROGRESSIVEART and Kiteboarding Komin featured Marin Marinic's sculptures Tarara on the idea of Hrvoje Dusan Manenica. For that purpose, we've created the Rapid Response Tactical Team. So, Haka was performed by Denis Blazevic Gringo, Ana Gizdic, Hrvoje Dusan Manenica, Lejla Mesanovic, Svetko Ramic, Marija Srsen, Maja Stajduhar and Moris Suman. The story of Tarara explained by dr. sc Enes Quien on Maori sculptures of Marin Marinic was a key inspiration to these performances. The visitors' response to our happenings (over a thousand tourists from around the world and numerous interested people from neighboring countries, Italy, Bosnia, and Montenegro who came to Delta to see sculptures and the first Haka, exclusively) was the second boost for making another Haka happen.

Professor's Quien text on Marin's sculptures read on page Larpourlartism - impression.

Larpourlartism - featuring, HAKA Take 2 (scroll right)

We've put an open call through the media for anyone interested in performing tribal war dance that happened on August 20, 2016. This time we have used the dance from the Kiwi league championship in 2011, we have also included a part of the mini-series Here to Stay, Here to Stay - Dalmatia, Croatia by the Croatian origin kiwi star Frano Botica and NZONSCREEN. These five short documentary movies explain the life of Croats from Dalmatia living in New Zealand for several generations now. The series focuses on the interconnected customs that created him and the other Croatian New Zealanders of his generation whose ancestral home was Dalmatia. The production, credits, and awards check on NZONSCREEN. The first episode of Here to stay - Dalmatia, Croatia (other episodes build on this one) watch on YouTube    ▶ *

In the gallery (above) you can see the preparations for HAKA Take 2 powered by the exquisite support of DJ TORNADO. Both Hakas were filmed and later presented in a short movie on Powerweb - Delta. More photos on preparations view on our Facebook.

Larpourlartism - influence, August 13th, 2016 @ Kiteboarding Komin.

The Journey of Zoran Jambresic, an inquisitive fine arts media explorer was an interdisciplinary concept planned to be the three-act and four-media - painting, poetry, video, and music - performance. The first act was an ambient music concert that Jambresic performs on a guitar along with his prewired music matrix. The video, a visual background to the concert is also his work. The second act, Sound Pictures consists of his oils on canvas and cardboard, poetry and music. The third act is a concert, this time tempered as an experimental and intense due to a distorted guitar and a faster rhythm. The background video to this concert now reveals itself in the light of the rhetorical figure thus resounding as a performance. (intro by Ana Gizdic)

More on Zoran Jambresic's performance read here >> and view here  >>

The cameramen who filmed these happenings are Davor Bulic, Dusko Milanovic and Davor Supek.
