Interdisciplinary conference in the form of talks and a short discussion examined possibilities of a good partnership between artists, artists and scientists, and other professions. There were some lectures that offered examples of encouraging and accenting the importance of art and science collaboration delivered through (personal) practice or experience.

The third phase of the paradigm change, according to the art critic Miwon Kwon, is defined through the concept of art in a public space. These concepts predict the collaboration of an artist and the experts of other professions. In such a context, New Genre Art „the art of the public interest“ emphasizes social themes, supposes the work through participatory methods that are “raising an (political) awareness of society”.

POWERPROGRESSIVEART is a wonderful example of collaborative art practice. It is a non-profit NGO of the artists, and also members of other professions who produce platforms and projects intended for general benefit. The other examples of such art are valuable works of Lillian Ball, Elizabeth Damon and Aviva Rahmani with whom participation EMERALD, BLUE, SILVER, AND GOLD project managed to reach full impact of Kwon's paradigm.

Through the pilot project EMERALD, BLUE, SILVER, AND GOLD we are exploring the possibilities of cooperation and the art engagement within the nature preservation together with science and all interested parties who are willing to contribute.  The assembly within a pilot is arranged to set a focus - the inseparability of nature and culture, the cultural and the natural heritage:  wherever there was a great civilization, there was a great wetland (a delta). The assembly also asserts particularities of nature on Mljet, its natural heritage through the Mljet National Park and its activities, as well as specifics on wetland areas - marshes and salt marshes of this island, abundant in both, nature and culture. 

These insights, also present a great advantage in the following steps of making a documentary (editing and production) whereby EMERALD, BLUE, SILVER, AND GOLD project was designed as a pilot to the more elaborated, large-scale project, a platform, we intend to realize in 2020.
