Respecting the fact that Croatia entered the European integrations as a full member of the European Union, culture institutions, associations and business companies are endeavoring at presenting their own heritage to the European and broader international community. The project Heritage and the local development gathers the individuals of culture, also education and tourism purview as well as those engaged into the government, also non-government institutions, artists, scientists and the experts who practice or contact heritage arrays through different perspectives and are interested in acquiring and exchanging knowledge and experiences. Various and original approaches from Croatia and other European countries aim to ensure knowledge expansion and better comprehension of transmitting methods of knowledge acquisition and proficiency, based upon familiar and creative attitude towards the heritage.
The objective is to provide the elements for consideration and acting upon individual doing to each participant of the Project, pointing out the importance of the interdisciplinary approach in the partnership as a fundamental prerequisite toward synergetic impact, as in the wide department of the cultural policies in general, so in the affirmation and valorization of the antique heritage, the mutual foundation of the European civilization.
The official languages of the International Cultural Project inspired by the Antique period titled THE HERITAGE AND THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT were Croatian and French.
